Negotiations involving soybeans are slow in Brazil, limited by the disparity between the prices offered by buyers and those requested by sellers.
According to Cepea researchers, demanders are aware of the external declines and of export premiums in Brazil, which have reduced export parity.

Furthermore, the environment is one of record national supply and an increase in supply in Argentina.
Sellers are already keeping an eye on high exports in April and the expectation of greater external demand in the coming months.
In April, Brazil exported 15.27 million tons of soybeans, an increase of 4.2% over the volume in March and 4.2% above the amount exported a year ago, according to Secex.
This is the third largest volume of soybeans transported by the country, behind only June 2023 (15.58 million tons) and April 2021 (16.11 million tons)
For China, specifically, the volume shipped fell by 3% from March to April.
