The purchasing power of S\u00e3o Paulo poultry farmers increased compared to the main inputs consumed in the activity, corn and soybean meal, in June, according to surveys by Cepea.<\/p>\n

According to the Research Center, despite the drop in egg prices, cereal and oilseed derivative prices fell more sharply during the month, favoring laying hens in terms of inputs.<\/p>\n

In the producing region of Bastos (SP), the average for extra white eggs, to be collected (FOB) from the farm, was R$ 164.43\/box with 30 dozen in June, a drop of 1.5% compared to May.<\/p>\n

For the red product traded in the same market, the variation was negative by 1.6%, for an average of R$ 184.84\/box. In the same comparison, corn depreciated by 7% and soybean meal by 4.9%, for R$ 68.15\/60 kg bag and R$ 1,705.25\/ton, respectively, in the region of Campinas (SP), according to a survey by Equipe Gr\u00e3os\/Cepea.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
