The agenda reinforces the Federal Government's focus on boosting Brazilian foreign trade, with special attention to the Amazon Region.<\/p>\n
Exports via the Bioceanic Route<\/h4>\n
During the meeting, strategic actions to optimize the flow of pork and beef exports from Acre were detailed. The measures aim to ensure greater agility, efficiency, and safety for the region's industries and include:<\/p>\n

- Strengthening the performance of the International Agricultural Surveillance System (Vigiagro).<\/li>\n
- The synchronization of operations between Brazilian and Peruvian customs.<\/li>\n

Minister Carlos F\u00e1varo emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts for Brazil's international presence. "We are now strengthening exports via the bioceanic route via Acre, with Chile, Peru, and the Dominican Republic," he stated. Acre is strategically located, being the closest state to the Port of Chancay in Peru. This position is seen as crucial for strengthening Brazil's connection to the Pacific, facilitating access to markets such as Chile and Peru, as well as opening doors to Asian countries.<\/p>\n

Aiming to further expand opportunities, F\u00e1varo confirmed that he will seek accreditation for Acre's meatpacking plants during his next official mission to Asia. In the coming days, President Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva, Minister F\u00e1varo, and ApexBrasil President Jorge Viana will join the mission to Indonesia (October 23 and 24) and Malaysia (October 25 and 26).<\/p>\n
The delegation will participate in Economic Forums and the ASEAN summit. The goal is to map out new opportunities, discuss partnerships and investments, and generate potential for the Brazilian animal protein sector in the region. "With President Lula's visit to Malaysia and Indonesia, we will seek accreditation for Acre's meatpacking plants, further expanding Brazil's trade relations with the world," F\u00e1varo noted.<\/p>\n
ApexBrasil president Jorge Viana reinforced the commitment to Amazonian producers and mentioned F\u00e1varo's leadership in opening new markets. "The minister has already opened more than 440 markets worldwide and continues to lead this mission," he concluded.
