The Mato Grosso Agriculture and Livestock Federation (Famato), in partnership with the Brazilian Agriculture and Livestock Confederation (CNA), began a special series of lectures on February 24 aimed at poultry and pig farmers in the state. The event aims to promote the development of production chains and discuss key issues for strengthening the agricultural sector.<\/p>\n

The first round took place at the Rural Union of Lucas do Rio Verde (24\/02), followed by the Rural Union of Nova Mutum (25\/02) and will continue in the coming days. The cycle will continue to the Poultry Farmers Association of Nova Maril\u00e2ndia on 26\/02 and to the Rural Union of Tangar\u00e1 da Serra on February 27. The series of lectures aims to strengthen the alignment of good practices and the unity of rural producers, highlighting the fundamental role of unions and associations in the development of the sector.<\/p>\n

Famato\u2019s Livestock Analyst, Marcos de Carvalho, highlighted the importance of mobilizing producers to strengthen production chains and the sector\u2019s competitiveness, ensuring the sustainability of the integrated system. \u201cUnion among producers is essential to establish a more sustainable relationship for both parties. Producers and agribusiness should benefit from the integration system. By organizing themselves through rural unions, federations and associations, they gain better negotiating conditions and have access to specialized technical guidance, such as that offered by Famato, Senar and CNA,\u201d said Marcos.<\/p>\n

Another relevant topic in the lectures is the CADEC Brazil Program, which offers training, legal advice and support to producers in the Commissions for Monitoring, Development and Conciliation of Integration (CADECs). Rafael Filho, technical advisor to the CNA, shared details of the program, while Adroaldo Hoffmann, president of the CNA National Poultry and Swine Commission, addressed the Integration Law and good practices for the sector.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe CADEC Brazil Program is an important tool to strengthen producers, ensuring greater knowledge. In addition to training and legal support, the program also brings producers closer to the Federation, creating a direct channel to defend their interests and strengthen the sector\u2019s representation,\u201d explained Rafael.<\/p>\n

Adroaldo Hoffmann stressed the importance of training producers and strengthening associations for integration. \u201cThe idea is to bring all production centers to the same level, providing associations and producers with access to support and assistance offered by the Federation and the Confederation of Agriculture. It is essential to encourage producers to join forces and participate in integration decisions, since producers coming together can make a difference. We want to train producers and technicians in understanding the Integration Law, so that they can negotiate better conditions within the system,\u201d Hoffmann highlighted.<\/p>\n

This series of lectures represents a unique opportunity for rural producers to update themselves on their rights and duties, receive direct guidance from experts and strengthen poultry and pig farming in Mato Grosso, one of the main animal protein producing states in Brazil.<\/p>\n
