In February, Brazilian exports of processed eggs reached a record for the period, considering the historical series of Secex, which began in 1997.<\/p>\n

Cepea researchers explain that this scenario was driven by growing demand from the United States, which has been facing an outbreak of bird flu.<\/p>\n

In the month, the country acquired just over double the volume of processed eggs recorded in January, becoming the main destination for Brazilian shipments of this product category.<\/p>\n

Secex data analyzed by Cepea show that Brazil exported 2.53 thousand tons of fresh and processed eggs in February, up 7.2% compared to January and 57.5% compared to February 2024.<\/p>\n

Of this total, 1.14 thousand tons were processed eggs, an increase of 65.4% compared to the first month of 2025 \u2013 the largest volume considering the February months of the Secex series. Shipments of fresh eggs totaled 1.39 thousand tons, a decrease of 16.8% compared to January.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
