The Brazilian government announced that, during a visit by the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Carlos F\u00e1varo, to Sarawak, Malaysia, the International Health Certificate (CSI) model was signed for the export of poultry and beef from Brazil.<\/p>\n

In 2024, Brazil exported more than 30,000 tons of these proteins to the Malaysian market, generating around US$1,500,000. Sarawak, located on an island separate from mainland Malaysia and with a population of approximately 2.5 million, has specific health criteria for food imports. With the approval of the CSI by the state, the expectation is a significant increase in the volume exported in the coming years.<\/p>\n

With this new opening, Brazilian agribusiness reaches its 44th market qualification in 2025, adding 344 new commercial opportunities since the beginning of 2023.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
