The first auction of port leases of the year, announced by the Ministry of Ports and Airports for the end of April, will include three units for solid vegetable bulk in the Port of Paranagu\u00e1, with investment values reaching R$1.38 billion. In addition to terminals PAR14, PAR15 and PAR25, the Federal Government will auction another terminal in Rio de Janeiro (RDJ11) and one in Porto Alegre (POA26).<\/p>\n
According to Minister of Ports and Airports S\u00edlvio Costa Filho, the new leases already take into account the projected growth in agricultural cargo that will pass through Paranagu\u00e1 in the coming decades. \u201cThe estimate is that the investments will double the capacity to transport agricultural harvests through the Paran\u00e1 port, opening up opportunities for exporting an additional 20 million tons per year.\u201d<\/p>\n
Scheduled to be held at B3, in S\u00e3o Paulo, on April 30, the first port auction of the year, in addition to expanding the logistics activity for the flow of agricultural production, will ensure a modern, efficient and safe transportation infrastructure. Throughout this year, the Ministry of Ports and Airports should hold the auction of at least 20 port units, in four regions of the country.<\/p>\n

Between 2013, when the Ports Law was changed, and 2022, the Federal Government held 40 auctions of port units. MPor has already carried out 11 leases since 2023 and plans another 40 by the end of 2026.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
