Brazilian chicken meat exports (including all products, both fresh and processed) totaled 476,000 tons in March, a volume 13.8% higher than that recorded in the same month of 2024, when 418,200 tons were shipped. The data are from the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA), based on figures from the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex).<\/p>\n

\"\"Revenue generated by exports also recorded a positive performance, reaching US$$ 889.9 million, 18.5% higher than the US$$ 751.3 million obtained in the same period of the previous year.<\/p>\n

With this result, the sector accumulates a total of 1.387 million tons exported in the first quarter of 2025, 13.7% above the volume shipped in the first three months of 2024, with 1.220 million tons. In revenue, the growth is even more expressive, with US$$ 2.587 billion obtained in the period, compared to US$$ 2.142 billion in the same period last year - an increase of 20.8%.<\/p>\n

Among the main export destinations in March, China maintained its leadership, with 46.4 thousand tons shipped \u2013 a volume 19.3% higher than that recorded in the same month of 2024. The following appear:<\/p>\n

\u25cf Saudi Arabia, with 40.5 thousand tons (+15.7%)<\/p>\n

\u25cf United Arab Emirates, with 32.2 thousand tons (-21%)<\/p>\n

\u25cf Japan, with 29.8 thousand tons (-5.5%)<\/p>\n

\u25cf South Africa, with 27.2 thousand tons (-4.7%)<\/p>\n

\u25cf Philippines, with 25.1 thousand tons (+43.6%)<\/p>\n

\u25cf European Union, with 23 thousand tonnes (+29.9%)<\/p>\n

\u25cf Mexico, with 20.4 thousand tons (+52.4%)<\/p>\n

\u25cf South Korea, with 14.9 thousand tons (+18.4%)<\/p>\n

\u25cf Iraq, with 14.9 thousand tons (-7.6%)<\/p>\n

In terms of performance by state, Paran\u00e1 remains the largest national exporter, with 192.3 thousand tons\"\" shipped in March (+11.6% compared to the same period last year). Next are:<\/p>\n

\u25cf Santa Catarina, with 106.1 thousand tons (+12.1%)<\/p>\n

\u25cf Rio Grande do Sul, with 63.2 thousand tons (+11.2%)<\/p>\n

\u25cf S\u00e3o Paulo, with 26.5 thousand tons (+19.9%)<\/p>\n

\u25cf Goi\u00e1s, with 22.6 thousand tons (+18.6%)<\/p>\n

\u201cThe average monthly chicken meat exports remained above 460 thousand tons in this first quarter, which is unprecedented in the history of the sector and indicates that ABPA\u2019s initial projections for this year will probably be exceeded. Several of the highest value-added markets showed significant increases, which was also reflected in higher revenue growth in relation to volumes,\u201d highlights ABPA president Ricardo Santin.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
