Negotiations involving soybeans are slow in Brazil, limited by the disparity between the prices offered by buyers and those requested by sellers.<\/p>\n

According to Cepea researchers, demanders are aware of the external declines and of export premiums in Brazil, which have reduced export parity.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the environment is one of record national supply and an increase in supply in Argentina.<\/p>\n

Sellers are already keeping an eye on high exports in April and the expectation of greater external demand in the coming months.<\/p>\n

In April, Brazil exported 15.27 million tons of soybeans, an increase of 4.2% over the volume in March and 4.2% above the amount exported a year ago, according to Secex.<\/p>\n

This is the third largest volume of soybeans transported by the country, behind only June 2023 (15.58 million tons) and April 2021 (16.11 million tons)<\/p>\n

For China, specifically, the volume shipped fell by 3% from March to April.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
