Free registration is now open for the 7th Seminar on Challenges for Brazilian Leadership in the Global Soybean Market, which will take place on August 19 and 20 at the Embrapa Soja headquarters in Londrina (PR). The event, with limited spaces and exclusively in-person participation, aims to bring together around 180 people, including researchers, technicians, industry representatives, rural producers, specialists and government agents.<\/p>\n

The program will focus on the main topics that impact the competitiveness of the soybean chain, with discussions on the evolution of soybean farming in Brazil, the technical and commercial challenges faced, as well as geopolitical aspects involving the international market. One of the highlights will be the role of China and the European Union in the global dynamics of Brazilian soybeans.<\/p>\n

\"\"The agenda for August 19th begins with the opening conference on the profile and mapping of Brazilian soybean production over the last 50 years, addressing the evolution of productivity, the challenges overcome and future prospects. Next, the panel \u201cEvolution of Brazilian soybean production: challenges and regional realities\u201d will discuss the technical panorama of production, including productivity mapping, regional fluctuations and the impacts of recent scenarios. The participation of cooperatives in soybean production will also be discussed.<\/p>\n

On the second day, August 20, the focus will be on the Chinese market, with analyses of phytosanitary barriers, traceability, quality criteria required by China and regulatory aspects related to the export of genetically modified soybeans. The seminar will close with the panel \u201cGeopolitics of soybeans: strategies, dependence and global protagonism\u201d, with perspectives from China and the European Union on Brazil's role in the global trade of the oilseed.<\/p>\n

The seminar is promoted by Embrapa Soja in partnership with entities representing the oilseed production chain: Brazilian Association of Vegetable Oil Industries (Abiove), Association of Cereal Companies of Brazil (Acebra), National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec), Association of Soybean Producers of Mato Grosso do Sul (Aprosoja MS), Association of Soybean Producers of Paran\u00e1 (Aprosoja PR), Association of Supervisors and Controllers of Brazil (ASCB), National Confederation of Agriculture (CNA), Organization of Brazilian Cooperatives (OCB) and National Union of the Animal Feed Industry (Sindira\u00e7\u00f5es).<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
