The Government of Goi\u00e1s, through the State Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (Seapa), has made available a set of regulatory models that serve as a reference for the implementation and regulation of the Municipal Inspection Service (SIM) in the municipalities of Goi\u00e1s. The material includes drafts of Laws and Decrees, as well as other documents necessary for inspection and monitoring activities, such as Inspection Reports, Violation Reports, models of stamps relevant to the SIM, among others.<\/p>\n
Aiming at the effective institution and operation of SIM in municipalities in the State of Goi\u00e1s, the document was developed by a Working Group (WG) composed of professionals specialized in the regulatory framework for the inspection of products of animal origin.<\/p>\n
Representatives from Seapa; the Goi\u00e1s Agricultural Defense Agency (Agrodefesa); the State Commission for Food Technology and Hygiene of the Regional Council of Veterinary Medicine of Goi\u00e1s (CRMV); veterinarians linked to the Health Department of Goi\u00e2nia, in addition to the collaboration of federal agricultural tax auditors from the Federal Superintendence of Agriculture in Goi\u00e1s of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (SFA-GO\/Mapa) participated in the WG.<\/p>\n

It is important to emphasize that the documents made available regarding drafts of the Law, Decree and annexes are reference models, subject to adaptation according to the needs and understanding of the team responsible for implementing SIM in municipalities in Goi\u00e1s.<\/p>\n
For the head of Seapa, Pedro Leonardo Rezende, the development of regulatory models is essential for greater uniformity of the SIM throughout the state. \u201cHaving a material that encompasses all the documents necessary for the implementation and regulation of the SIM makes it easier for the municipalities of Goi\u00e1s to advance in a technical, safe manner and in line with current legislation,\u201d he emphasized.<\/p>\n
According to Andr\u00e9 Lousa, the manager of Agricultural Production Chain Development, the document meets a recurring technical demand from municipalities. \u201cThe proposed models offer clear and updated parameters for structuring the inspection service, from the legal basis to the operational procedures,\u201d he pointed out.<\/p>\n
