Brazilian egg exports, including fresh and processed products, recorded the best performance for a first half of the year since the beginning of the Secex historical series, which began in 1997.<\/p>\n
According to figures analyzed by Cepea, between January and June of this year, the volume shipped grew by a significant 192% compared to the same period in 2024, totaling 24.9 thousand tons.<\/p>\n
Revenue from sales was also a record, at US$1.5T 57.8 million in the first six months of 2025, an amount 21.6T 1.4T higher than that obtained in the same period last year.<\/p>\n
In the domestic market, Cepea surveys show that egg prices have been falling in most regions monitored by the Research Center. Despite a slight increase in liquidity in the first two weeks, pressure for discounts in negotiations has intensified.<\/p>\n
Cepea employees are keeping a close eye on sales this month, as the school holidays mean that part of the production ends up being directed to domestic consumption, which could put further pressure on prices.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
