"We expect the data to be presented to indicate total production closer to 400,000 tons, a slightly better scenario than we estimated at the meeting earlier this year. Wheat, from what we've heard, is performing well, with no serious signs of decline," he states.<\/p>\n
Montagna adds that, despite some uncertainties regarding the final quality of the grain and possible localized losses, the assessment is that the harvest is progressing well, with production potential above initial projections. "We know that frost is always a point of concern, but it was very isolated and dispersed, which may not have affected production. This scenario will only become more certain based on the cooperatives' report at the meeting."<\/p>\n
