According to agricultural engineer Vin\u00edcius Boleta, farmers' attention at this stage is crucial to the success of the harvest. "If producers don't get desiccation right, soybeans will begin the cycle competing with weeds, losing production potential. Furthermore, herbicide options for post-emergence soybean use are much more limited than those for desiccation, which hinders effective control," he emphasizes.<\/p>\n
Boleta further emphasizes that producers must carefully assess the stage of weeds and the area's resistance history to select the most appropriate herbicides.
