According to the survey carried out by the Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics (IMEA), this disparity increased the base differential (MT-SP) to -5.13%, a reduction of 0.66 percentage points compared to August.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe main reason for this difference is the increased supply of finished cattle. This trend has put pressure on beef cattle prices, especially in Mato Grosso, while demand in S\u00e3o Paulo remains stronger, ensuring local appreciation.<\/p>\n<p>\nMarket expectations are that this scenario could change by the end of the year, with the recovery in beef cattle prices, which could narrow the price differential between the two states.
