The Brazilian Nelore Breeders Association (ACNB) held another stage of the Nelore Quality Circuit in Senador Canedo, Goi\u00e1s, on September 19. At Friboi's headquarters, 1,054 animals were evaluated, all finished in confinement, and registered by 12 ranchers. The initiative was the result of a collaboration between ACNB, the Goi\u00e1s Nelore Association (AGN), Matsuda Sementes e Nutri\u00e7\u00e3o Animal, and the meatpacking plant.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Of the total animals evaluated, 1,088 were uncastrated males, of which 92% had up to two permanent incisor teeth, indicating an age of less than 2 years. Among the males, 67% had milk teeth (approximately 20 months) and 57% had medium fat coverage. The average weight was 23 arrobas.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Among the females, 46 animals were evaluated, of which 100% had baby teeth (20 months) and medium to uniform fat coverage, with an average weight of 19.5 arrobas. "The 2025 Nelore Quality Circuit stage held in Senador Canedo was a true success. We are very proud of the results achieved, which demonstrate the excellent quality of the 1,054 animals evaluated\u2014the result of the dedicated work of Nelore breeders in the region.
