Brazilian pork exports (considering all products, both fresh and processed) totaled 144,000 tons in October, according to the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA). This figure is the second highest monthly result in the sector's history, and exceeds by 10.11% the total exported in the same period last year, which was 130,900 tons.<\/p>\n
In terms of revenue, pork exports totaled US$343.6 million in October \u2013 also the second-best performance in export revenue in the sector's history \u2013 a 9.71% increase compared to the previous year, which totaled US$313.3 million.<\/p>\n

In the year to date (January to October), Brazilian pork exports totaled 1.266 million tons, a 12.91% increase compared to the same period last year, which totaled 1.121 million tons.<\/p>\n
In terms of revenue, the accumulated increase reaches 22.71%, with US$3.046 billion recorded between January and October of this year, compared to US$2.482 billion in the same period of 2024. The revenue recorded in the first ten months of 2025 already exceeds the total obtained from exports in 2024, of US$3.033 billion (that is, the revenue for 2025 is already a historical record for the sector).<\/p>\n
The Philippines, the main destination for exports from the sector, imported 46,300 tons of pork in October, a volume 21% higher than that recorded in the same period last year. Next is Japan, with 10,700 tons (+5.9%), Mexico, with 10,050 tons (+27.1%), China, with 10,030 tons (-47.6%), Hong Kong, with 8,400 tons (-1.3%), Chile, with 7,800 tons (-17.8%), Vietnam, with 7,000 tons (+21.4%), Singapore, 5,400 tons (+19.6%), Ivory Coast, with 4,100 tons (+266.7%) and Uruguay, with 4,000 tons (+10.8%).<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have seen a strong increase in the reach of pork exports, with important world markets gaining more representation among the destinations of Brazilian shipments, such as Japan and Mexico. The results achieved so far consolidate the growth projection outlined by the sector for the year 2025, with positive prospects that should continue until next year,\u201d assesses the president of ABPA, Ricardo Santin.<\/p>\n
The leading exporting state, Santa Catarina, shipped 69,000 tons of pork in October (+0.6%) compared to the same period last year, followed by Rio Grande do Sul, with 36,500 tons (+32%), Paran\u00e1, with 22,200 tons (+7.6%), Minas Gerais, with 3,700 tons (+13.9%) and Mato Grosso, with 3,500 tons (+14.2%).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
