Through a joint initiative between the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa), the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (MDIC) and the Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of Mato Grosso (Famato), the Central-West region gains a boost in support for local companies to strengthen exports. On Monday (24), in Cuiab\u00e1, the ApexBrasil Office in Mato Grosso (EA-MT) will be inaugurated with a business round between representative entities from various productive sectors and Brazilian agricultural attach\u00e9s.<\/p>\n
The inauguration ceremony will be attended by the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Carlos F\u00e1varo, and the president of ApexBrasil, Jorge Viana. The event will be held at Cenarium Rural starting at 8:30 am.<\/p>\n
Currently, the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) has 40 Brazilian agricultural attach\u00e9s in 38 posts around the world, responsible for opening, maintaining, and expanding markets for Brazilian agribusiness. During the program, businesspeople and producers interested in exporting their products can participate in negotiation sessions with them. Prior registration is required.\u00a0clicking here<\/a>"We are bringing together all the necessary support structure so that producers can market their products around the world and, with that, strengthen the agro-industry and income generation in the different regions and sectors of the state," commented Minister Carlos F\u00e1varo.<\/p>\n Between 2023 and 2025, the integrated effort between ApexBrasil, Mapa, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE) resulted in more than 170 international actions carried out in 42 countries, generating US$$ 18 billion in projected business and serving more than 3,000 Brazilian companies.<\/p>\n The new ApexBrasil office is located at the Famato headquarters in the Administrative Political Center in Cuiab\u00e1. The opening of the Mato Grosso EA is part of ApexBrasil's decentralization strategy, which seeks to bring the Agency's services closer to local companies, expanding support for exports, internationalization, and attracting foreign direct investment (FDI). \u201cMato Grosso plays a strategic role in Brazilian foreign trade, especially in the agribusiness, food, and sustainability sectors. With this new office, we want to be closer to companies in the region and help them conquer new markets,\u201d highlighted the president of ApexBrasil, Jorge Viana.<\/p>\n Internationally, the agency has offices in major global business centers such as Miami, Dubai, Beijing, Shanghai, Moscow, Brussels, Bogot\u00e1, and others.
