In the first week of December 2025, the trade balance recorded a surplus of US$1.9 billion and a trade flow of US$12.9 billion, resulting from exports worth US$7.4 billion and imports of US$5.5 billion.<\/p>\n

For the year, exports totaled US$ 325.3 billion and imports, US$ 265.5 billion, with a positive balance of US$ 59.8 billion and a trade flow of US$ 590.7 billion. These and other results were released on Monday (08), by the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (Secex\/MDIC).<\/p>\n

In exports, comparing the averages of the first week of December 2025 (US$ 1.486 billion) with that of December 2024 (US$ 1.184 billion), there was a growth of 25.4%. Regarding imports, there was a growth of 14.3% when comparing the averages of the first week of December 2025 (US$ 1.101 billion) with that of December 2024 (US$ 964.06 million).<\/p>\n

Preliminary Partial Trade Balance for the Month \u2013 1st Week of December\/2025<\/a><\/p>\n

Thus, up to the first week of December 2025, the average daily trade flow totaled US$2,587.63 million and the balance, also on a daily average basis, was US$384.67 million. Comparing this period with the average for December 2024, there was a growth of 20.41% in the trade flow.<\/p>\n

Exports and imports by sector<\/b><\/h4>\n

In the accumulated figures up to the first week of December 2025, compared to the same month of the previous year, the performance of the export sectors by daily average was as follows: growth of US$ 111.59 million (58.9%) in Agriculture; of US$ 103.3 million (42.8%) in Extractive Industry and of US$ 84.28 million (11.3%) in products of the Manufacturing Industry.<\/p>\n

In the accumulated figures up to the first week of December 2025, compared to the same month of the previous year, the performance of the importing sectors by daily average was as follows: growth of US$ 3.01 million (13.3%) in Agriculture; of US$ 12.88 million (33.3%) in Extractive Industry and of US$ 126.07 million (14.1%) in products of the Manufacturing Industry.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
