The Paran\u00e1 Institute for Economic and Social Development (Ipardes) released this Wednesday (10) the\u00a0November report on the trade balance of Paran\u00e1.<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>Based on data from the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (MDIC), one of the highlights is that nine goods produced in Paran\u00e1 registered significant export growth from January to November 2025, compared to the same period last year.<\/p>\n

In this product list, the following stand out: cereals<\/strong>, with an increase in external sales from US$478 million to US$1 billion, resulting in a rise of approximately 109%. Following a similar trajectory, state exports of fresh beef<\/strong> They increased by 63%, jumping from US$114 million in the first eleven months of 2024 to US$187 million in 2025.<\/p>\n

In addition to these two products, there were significant increases in exports of fresh pork<\/strong> (41,2%), taps and valves (41%), tractors (38%), automobiles (37%), cargo vehicles (34,4%), crude soybean oil<\/strong> (34%) and soluble coffee (32%), which highlights the breadth of dynamism in state sales to the international market, including everything from agricultural goods to manufactured items with high technological content.<\/p>\n

According to Jorge Callado, CEO of Ipardes, the diversification of Paran\u00e1's exports is a result of the growing density of the local productive structure. "We are observing an expansion in exports of certain agribusiness products alongside a strong increase in sales of goods that add significant value, such as those in the automotive sector, which is largely due to the state's policy of attracting investment," he states.<\/p>\n

The Secretary of Planning, Ulisses Maia, highlights the wide range of exported items, which makes Paran\u00e1's foreign trade less vulnerable to international fluctuations. "Even in the face of increased tariff barriers by the United States, we achieved very significant results in foreign trade, which demonstrates the competence of the state's exporters," he says.<\/p>\n

Balance<\/strong><\/h4>\n

From January to November, Paran\u00e1 exported US$21.6 billion worth of products, the sixth best result in Brazil and the best in the South. The main products were soybeans (US$4.3 billion), fresh chicken meat (US$3.2 billion), soybean meal (US$1.1 billion), raw sugar (US$1 billion) and cereals (US$999 million).<\/p>\n

The most frequent commercial destinations for products from Paran\u00e1 were China (US$4.9 billion), Argentina (US$1.7 billion), the USA (US$1.1 billion), and Mexico (US$837 million). An additional factor is the growth in trade with some countries, such as Argentina (59.5% compared to the same period last year), Iran (47.7%), the United Arab Emirates (35.9%), Paraguay (6.5%), Chile (2.6%), and Peru (9.1%).<\/p>\n

Through November, Paran\u00e1's trade balance showed a positive balance of US$2.6 billion, resulting from US$21.6 billion in exports and US$18.8 billion in imports (an area dominated by fertilizers, auto parts, oils and fuels, and pharmaceutical products).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
