Therefore, it is very important that the producer implements a preventive disease control program for the crop in association with multi-site and biological products,&quot; mentions the professional.<\/p>\n<p>Lemos explains that the frequent use of the same fungicide promotes greater selection pressure and, therefore, leads to less effective disease management. \u201cIn the absence of new active ingredients, rotating chemical groups and molecules reduces pressure on populations and provides more control,\u201d he emphasizes, adding: \u201cControlling diseases at the appropriate time results in more pods per plant, longer leaf retention, optimizing photosynthesis and grain filling, as well as more efficient use of fungicides.
