Fieldwork on the main agricultural crops in Paran\u00e1 continues at an accelerated pace in the 2025\/2026 harvest, according to data from the Department of Rural Economy (Deral), of the State Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply (Seab), released this Wednesday (07). most recent survey from the Subjective Crop Monitoring System (PSS)<\/a>Data from the second week of January shows good crop development in virtually all regions of the state.<\/p>\n Soybeans, the main agricultural crop in Paran\u00e1, already occupy an area of 4.8 million hectares planted. Most of the crops are in good condition, predominantly in the vegetative and flowering stages of development. The estimated production is practically 22 million tons, reinforcing the expectation of another large harvest for the state.<\/p>\n The regional centers with the largest planted areas are Campo Mour\u00e3o (704,000 hectares), Ponta Grossa (547,000 hectares), Cascavel (544,000 hectares), and Toledo (493,000 hectares).<\/p>\n In the case of corn, the first crop totals approximately 339,000 hectares planted, with crops well distributed across all producing regions. Crop conditions are also mostly positive, with over 90% of areas classified as average to good. The second corn crop, the main contributor to the total volume produced in Paran\u00e1, already has over 2.8 million hectares projected, although planting is still in its initial phase.<\/p>\n Beans, an essential crop for domestic supply, present two distinct scenarios. In the first harvest, the state accounts for approximately 103,600 hectares planted, with harvesting progressing in some regions and production estimated at around 184,000 tons. The second bean harvest is still in its early stages of planting, with most of the planned areas already sown.<\/p>\n Potato cultivation also stands out in the current harvest. The first crop already accounts for more than 16,600 hectares planted, with harvesting underway and an estimated production exceeding 530,000 tons.
