Brazilian egg exports, considering all products, both fresh and processed, totaled 40,894 tons in the 12 months of 2025, according to the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA). This figure is a historical record and exceeds by 121.4% the total exported in the same period last year, which was 18,469 tons.<\/p>\n

Revenue is also at a record high. The year's balance reached US$97.240 million, a figure 147.51 million higher than that obtained in 2024, which was US$39.282 million.<\/p>\n

In December, 2,257 tons of eggs were exported, a number 9.9% higher than the shipments achieved in the same period of 2024, which totaled 2,054 tons. In terms of revenue, the increase is 18.4%, with US$$ reaching 5.110 million in December 2025, compared to US$$ 4.317 million in the same month of 2024. \u201cThe year was marked by strong growth in exports to the United States, a trend that slowed down after the imposition of tariffs. Conversely, the sector reorganized and new destinations gained momentum, such as Japan, a high value-added market that began to lead Brazilian shipments in the last months of the year. With these volumes, exports exceeded the equivalent of 1% of the entire national egg production, a significant milestone for the internationalization of the sector, without compromising domestic supply, which continues to absorb approximately 99% of what is produced in the country,\u201d highlighted the president of ABPA, Ricardo Santin.<\/p>\n

Among the main destinations for 2025, the United States ended the year with the highest accumulated volume, totaling 19,597 tons.<\/p>\n

(+826.71 TP4T compared to the total for 2024), followed by Japan, with 5,375 tons (+229.11 TP4T), Chile, with 4,124 tons (-401 TP4T), Mexico, with 3,195 tons (+495.61 TP4T) and the United Arab Emirates, with 3,097 tons (+31.51 TP4T). \u201cWith the consolidation of the export culture, the expectation is for the maintenance of export flows at positive levels. This movement, added to the climatic context at the beginning of the year, with high temperatures, and the proximity of the period of greatest demand during Lent, should contribute to balancing the supply to the domestic market,\u201d says Santin.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
