According to a report released last week by the USDA, the 2025\/26 global crop is estimated at 1.29 billion tons, above the 1.28 billion tons indicated in December 2025 and the 1.23 billion tons recorded in the previous season, reflecting the increase in production in the United States and China.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, national estimates, also released by Conab last week, point to the 2025\/26 season (considering the first, second, and third harvests) at 138.86 million tons, a volume 1.5% lower than the previous one, but still considered high by market participants.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
