Trypsin inhibitors are natural compounds present in soybeans and can limit protein utilization, as well as negatively affect gut health and growth.

In a study with broiler chickens fed diets containing high levels of phytase, researchers observed that higher levels of trypsin inhibitors (TI) were associated with lower body weight gain and poorer feed conversion. When NOVUS protease was added to the feed, birds fed diets containing higher levels of trypsin inhibitors showed recovery in growth and carcass yield compared to birds that did not receive the protease.

Complementary transcriptomic studies evaluated gene expression in the jejunum and pancreas of broiler chickens fed the same diets. The results showed that elevated TI levels were associated with lower expression of digestive enzymes and increased cellular stress responses. Birds fed the NOVUS protease had improved digestive and metabolic pathways, as well as more robust indicators of intestinal function.

Research on microminerals highlights the importance of the source.

Nutrition with microminerals using the organic bi-chelated mineral MINTREX® It has also been the subject of much scientific study, including evaluations of replacing higher levels of inorganic zinc (Zn), manganese (Mn), and copper (Cu) with lower inclusion levels of NOVUS bi-chelated trace minerals.

In a study with broiler chickens, which evaluated different copper programs, the birds fed with the organic bi-chelated mineral MINTREX® Zn and bi-chelated organic mineral MINTREX® Mn showed favorable growth and feed conversion responses compared to birds fed inorganic sources, regardless of the source and amount of copper.

“Gene expression analysis showed that bi-chelated minerals favored metabolic pathways associated with protein deposition and energy utilization, in addition to exhibiting reduced tissue stress responses,” says Hugo Romero, global manager of strategic technology in poultry at NOVUS. “This indicates that the birds' organisms were better prepared to utilize nutrients destined for growth and energy when fed MINTREX.”®The genes that help convert feed into muscle and usable energy were more active, while genes related to physical exertion in tissues were less active. Taken together, this suggests that birds supplemented with MINTREX® used feed more efficiently and their bodies were subjected to less internal stress as they grew.

In a trial conducted in Latin America, results from a commercial field study in Brazil compared the carcass quality of broiler chickens fed lower levels of zinc supplied as the bi-chelated organic mineral MINTREX.® compared to inorganic microminerals. Birds that received 40 ppm of Zn from MINTREX® They exhibited fewer carcass defects, including reductions in skin lesions and footpad problems, compared to birds fed 120 ppm zinc sulfate. These results translated into fewer condemnations and greater consistency in carcass quality under commercial production conditions.

Finally, research with laying hens extends these findings to egg production. In a study with laying hens in their peak production phase, the partial or total replacement of inorganic microminerals with the bi-chelated organic mineral MINTREX showed significant improvement.® This was associated with positive and measurable differences in egg quality parameters, including egg and yolk weight, demonstrating the importance of mineral sources for laying hens.

“In all these studies, the common theme is efficiency,” highlights Rasha Qudsieh, Senior Global Manager of Enzymes and Microbials at NOVUS. “Producers are looking for ways to get more value from the ingredients they already use. This research shows that aligning enzyme and mineral utilization strategies with real production conditions can help optimize performance and generate real benefits for the producer.”

THE Bela Cereais works with the best grains on the market and also keeps you up to date with the latest news and analyses on agribusiness.
Don't forget to follow our social networks.

Access News Source

Diversos estudos avaliam o uso do aditivo enzimático CIBENZA® em dietas para frangos de corte formuladas…

[259

post-26765","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-soja
["GET
