The initiative aims to support the development of a regulatory act focused on strengthening poultry health.<\/p>\n<p>Public consultation no. 001\/2026 allows producers, veterinarians, laboratories, and other members of the production chain to submit suggestions, criticisms, and contributions until March 19th.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Focus on broiler chicken farms<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The process is aimed at commercial poultry farms focused on broiler production, a strategic segment for the economy of Mato Grosso do Sul and for national animal protein production.<\/p>\n<p>The proposal calls for the definition of guidelines for the control of Salmonella, a bacterium associated with production losses on farms and risks to public health when not properly monitored.<\/p>\n<div id=\"uolpd-video-inarticle\"><\/div>\n<p>According to Iagro&#039;s CEO, Daniel Ingold, the initiative aims to strengthen the sector&#039;s competitiveness.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Poultry health is an essential pillar for the competitiveness and sustainability of this production chain.&quot;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Participation open to the productive sector.<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Contributions must be submitted via an electronic form provided by the state government.
