This Wednesday (18), the director of Institutional Relations at Famato, Ronaldo Vinha, was personally at Procon-MT to present supplementary documentation to the complaint filed on March 10.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are gathering invoices and other information provided by producers to assist regulatory agencies. The expectation is that the investigation will clarify the origin of these increases and ensure balance in market relations,\u201d stated the director.<\/p>\n<p>In early March, coinciding with the worsening international situation, the federation began collecting invoices submitted by producers to compare prices in the state. It causes a chain reaction throughout the entire agricultural operation, because it directly impacts planting, harvesting, the transport of inputs, the flow of production, and the movement between farms, warehouses, industries, and consumer markets. When there is a sudden increase, the damage is not limited to the producer, but reaches the entire production and logistics chain of the sector,\u201d stated the Director of Institutional Relations at Famato.<\/p>\n<p>Invoices attached to the material show, for example, regular S500 diesel at R$ 6.19 per liter in Campo Novo do Parecis on March 3rd, and at R$ 7.59 per liter in the same municipality on March 12th. In Alto Taquari, another tax document records the purchase of 10,000 liters of B S10 diesel at R$ 5.58 per liter on March 2nd, while an invoice from March 11th indicates the acquisition of 8,000 liters at R$ 7.98 per liter, which indicates a variation greater than 40% in the interval.<\/p>\n<p>In a preliminary response, Procon-MT (the consumer protection agency of Mato Grosso) reported that it is already monitoring gas stations in the Baixada Cuiabana region and is requesting purchase and sales invoices from the last 30 days for data cross-referencing. The agency will also identify and notify companies operating under the TRR (Road Transport Reseller) model.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the complaint, the investigation may be expanded through the more than 50 municipal units of the consumer protection agency in Mato Grosso, with notifications to gas stations, distributors, and suppliers of the TRR (Road Transport of Recyclable Materials) modality to present purchase and sale invoices for the recent period.<\/p>\n<p>The objective is to verify any potential abusive practices, such as price increases without just cause.
