Around 130 people attended, last Tuesday (17), in Goi\u00e2nia (GO), another edition of the Agro Export Caravan, promoted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa). Focusing on the beef production chain, the meeting brought together representatives from the production sector and the public authorities to discuss traceability and access to international markets.<\/p>\n

Held in partnership with the Goi\u00e1s State Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (Seapa), Agrodefesa and the Faeg\/Senar-GO System, the program promoted dialogue between the different links in the chain about the challenges and opportunities for Goi\u00e1s exports. Goi\u00e1s has one of the largest cattle herds in the country, which makes the action especially relevant for the state's competitiveness and for expanding access to more demanding markets.<\/p>\n

During the event, representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) presented actions by the Secretariat of Trade and International Relations (SCRI) aimed at trade promotion and support for Brazilian exporters.<\/p>\n

Among the highlights were international trade fairs and events, as well as tools such as AgroInsight, ConectAgro, and Passaporte Agro, which help producers, cooperatives, and companies operate in foreign trade.<\/p>\n

Guidance was also shared on sanitary authorization, certifications, and requirements of importing countries \u2013 topics that are increasingly important for those seeking to expand or consolidate their presence in foreign markets.<\/p>\n

The Brazilian agricultural attach\u00e9s in China, Leandro Feij\u00f3 and Jean Gouhie, and in the European Union, Nilton de Morais, participated virtually and presented an overview of the scenario for the export of meat, hides, and related products. China and the European Union are among the main destinations for Brazilian agribusiness exports, which reinforces the strategic importance of the demands of these markets for the national productive sector.<\/p>\n

The program also included a presentation of the national overview of the implementation of the National Plan.<\/p>\n

Individual Identification of Cattle and Buffaloes (PNIB), conducted by technicians from the Animal Health Department of the Secretariat of Agricultural Defense (SDA) of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (Mapa). Following this, Agrodefesa detailed the strategies adopted for the implementation of the policy in Goi\u00e1s, connecting the national debate to the reality of the state.<\/p>\n

Another point on the agenda was the participation of institutions and partners that work directly to strengthen the international insertion of Brazilian agriculture. There were presentations from ApexBrasil, CNA, Banco do Brasil, Seapa, and the Agro Brasil + Sustent\u00e1vel platform, a digital tool developed by Mapa in partnership with Serpro, which integrates data from public and private institutions to generate traceable information on sustainable agricultural production in the country.<\/p>\n

The Agro Export Caravan, led by SCRI, is part of MAPA's strategy to internalize the export culture in the country, bringing producers and companies closer to international trade opportunities and preparing the productive sectors to meet the demands of increasingly competitive and discerning markets.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
