The Tradi\u00e7\u00e3o Agroindustrial Cooperative will inaugurate a soybean oil and meal processing plant in Pato Branco on March 26th and 27th, with an investment of R$770 million. The project expands processing capacity in Southwest Paran\u00e1 and is part of the strategy to industrialize agricultural production.<\/p>\n
The new unit will have the capacity to process up to 3,000 tons of soybeans per day. The operation allows the cooperative to reduce its dependence on the sale of raw grain and increase value addition within its own production chain.<\/p>\n
The project was structured with financing from institutions such as BNDES, BRDE, Caixa Econ\u00f4mica Federal, Banco do Brasil, Ita\u00fa, and Finep, indicating the participation of both public and private credit in making the project viable.<\/p>\n
The plant's planning began in 2021 with the acquisition of the industrial complex area. Construction started in 2023 and progressed throughout 2024 until the unit's completion.<\/p>\n
Income generation<\/b><\/h4>\n
The cooperative estimates the creation of 180 direct jobs, in addition to indirect jobs in activities such as transportation, warehousing, and services. The operation should also increase local revenue and stimulate the circulation of income in the region.<\/p>\n
With the plant now operational, the cooperative will have the capacity to fully absorb the soybean production of its members and expand its operations in partnership with other cooperatives, strengthening regional integration.<\/p>\n
Inauguration in two stages<\/b><\/h4>\n
The schedule includes an institutional ceremony on March 26th at 10:00 AM, with authorities, industry leaders, and partners. On the 27th, at 7:00 PM, the event will be geared towards cooperative members, employees, and guests.<\/p>\n
The new unit marks the cooperative's progress in verticalizing production, in line with the movement to expand soybean processing capacity in the country.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
