The Brazilian government has concluded negotiations that open new markets for agricultural products in El Salvador, the Philippines, and Trinidad and Tobago, with a particular focus on pork.<\/p>\n
In El Salvador, the export of pork and its by-products has been authorized, expanding opportunities for the production chain and allowing for greater added value to Brazilian products. By 2025, Brazil had already exported more than US$103 million in agricultural items to the country, and this new opening is expected to strengthen that trade flow.<\/p>\n
The negotiations also include authorization for the export of dry hay to the Philippines, a market with approximately 112 million inhabitants that imported over US$1.8 billion worth of Brazilian agricultural products in 2025, as well as authorization for the shipment of coconut seeds to Trinidad and Tobago, which acquired over US$61 million worth of Brazilian agricultural products during the same period.<\/p>\n
With the new agreements, Brazilian agribusiness has opened up 555 new markets since the beginning of 2023. These results are a product of the joint efforts of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
