The Faesc\/Senar System has consolidated its partnership with the AgroBR project, an initiative of the CNA\/Senar System developed in conjunction with Sebrae and ApexBrasil. The objective is to identify producers receiving Technical and Managerial Assistance (ATeG) with the potential to access the international market.<\/p>\n
The proposal seeks to expand opportunities for small and medium-sized rural producers, which will strengthen the presence of the state's products in foreign trade.<\/p>\n

The initiative includes training, organizing actions, marketing, and interactions that help producers access and be competitive in international markets. According to the International Promotion Coordinator of CNA (National Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock), Rodrigo da Matta, AgroBR has been working since 2020 to support the internationalization of small and medium-sized rural enterprises, agro-industries, and cooperatives for export.<\/p>\n
According to him, the project prioritizes production chains that need support to access the foreign market. "The goal is not to serve large companies."\u00a0commodities<\/i>\u00a0or sectors already organized for export. The focus is on those who, often, never imagined they could export,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
Rodrigo da Matta also highlighted that Brazil has only about seven thousand food and beverage exporters, a number considered low given the potential of the national agribusiness sector. \u201cWe need to bring knowledge and guidance to small and medium-sized producers. And there is no more efficient way to do this than through the Technical and Managerial Assistance provided by Senar, which has already served thousands of rural properties in ten years,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n
Potential of Santa Catarina<\/b><\/h4>\n
Luana Krieger, consultant for AgroBR in the Southern region, reinforced that the project seeks to diversify Brazil's export portfolio and promote products with high international potential. She emphasized that Santa Catarina has favorable characteristics to expand its participation in the foreign market. \u201cWe identified great potential in some production chains here. During visits to the properties, we realized that many producers are practically ready. In some cases, only details are missing to enter the international market, such as\u2026\u201d\u00a0<\/b>"Pricing for export, necessary registrations, packaging suitability," he pointed out.<\/b><\/p>\n
According to Luana, after these adjustments, which will be worked on by AgroBR, producers can participate in international business rounds and commercial promotion activities. "Santa Catarina has significant potential in fruits, beekeeping products, fish, and various other differentiated items," she added.<\/p>\n
The superintendent of Senar\/SC, Gilmar Ant\u00f4nio Zanluchi, highlighted the positive expectations regarding the partnership and acknowledged the productive capacity of the rural sector in Santa Catarina. \u201cThe rural producer is the essence and the reason for the work of the Faesc\/Senar System. Our role is to open pathways, provide information, and present opportunities for them to produce with quality, regularity, and profitability. Technical and Managerial Assistance does this in an individualized way, respecting the characteristics of each property, always focusing on sustainable production,\u201d he emphasized.<\/p>\n
The president of the Faesc\/Senar System, Jos\u00e9 Zeferino Pedrozo, emphasized that the partnership with AgroBR represents another strategic step to broaden horizons for rural producers in Santa Catarina. \u201cSanta Catarina has a diversified production, of recognized quality and with great potential to conquer international markets. With this partnership, we will prepare our producers to access new opportunities, adding value to production and further strengthening agribusiness in Santa Catarina. We believe that bringing knowledge, technical assistance and management to the field is the way to make producers more competitive, sustainable and prepared for the challenges of the global market,\u201d he highlighted.<\/p>\n
How it will work<\/b><\/h4>\n
Last Wednesday (06), two meetings were held to align the actions of the partnership. In one of the meetings, the board of the Faesc\/Senar System and the ATeG professionals received the representatives to present the potential and results achieved by Technical and Managerial Assistance in Santa Catarina.<\/p>\n
The presentation was led by the state coordinator of ATeG, Paula Coimbra Nunes.,\u00a0<\/b>which provided important information about the significant results achieved by ATeG in the production chains served in Santa Catarina.<\/b><\/p>\n
According to the data presented, from 2016 to 2025, the Technical and Managerial Assistance program provided services to 15,980 rural properties, conducted 418,509 technical visits, and was present in 290 municipalities in the State.<\/p>\n
In 2025 alone, the initiative reached the milestone of 8,241 rural properties served, of which 6,649 are still being monitored. The data reinforces the broad scope of the Faesc\/Senar System's work in strengthening the agricultural production chains in Santa Catarina.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
