The Central-West region continues to experience predominantly dry weather and high temperatures this Thursday. According to meteorologist Giovana Barbosa, most of Goi\u00e1s, Mato Grosso, and the Federal District remain without rain forecast, although some areas in southern Mato Grosso do Sul and the extreme south of Goi\u00e1s may experience isolated showers between Friday and Saturday.<\/span><\/p>\n According to weather maps, the instability is expected to move mainly over municipalities near the borders with S\u00e3o Paulo and Paran\u00e1. Regions such as Dourados, Bataguassu, Nova Andradina, and Navira\u00ed, in Mato Grosso do Sul, may receive low rainfall amounts in the coming days.<\/span><\/p>\n In the projected total for the next five days, the highest rainfall volumes are expected to be concentrated in eastern and southern Mato Grosso do Sul, as well as the extreme south of Goi\u00e1s, in cities such as Jata\u00ed, Cachoeira Alta, and Chapad\u00e3o do C\u00e9u. Despite this, the total amounts remain low and are not expected to represent a significant change in the drought scenario.<\/span><\/p>\n Temperatures remain high across much of the region. In areas of Mato Grosso and Goi\u00e1s, thermometers may reach up to 36\u00b0C, especially between Cuiab\u00e1, Sinop, and regions near the border with Tocantins. Mato Grosso do Sul, however, should experience slightly milder temperatures due to increased cloud cover and the possibility of rain.<\/span><\/p>\n In the municipality of Rio Verde, in Goi\u00e1s, the forecast indicates highs close to 30\u00b0C throughout the weekend, with lows between 17\u00b0C and 18\u00b0C.
