Compared to the same period last year, the harvest is 0.29 pp ahead due to the continued dry weather, which boosted operations.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"image-center\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"colheita milho mt\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.noticiasagricolas.com.br\/dbimagens\/thumbs\/800x2000\/colheita-milho-mt-ycIbb.png\"><\/p>\n<div id=\"uolpd-video-inarticle\"><\/div>\n<p>Currently, Imea estimates production at 57.06 million tons, 2.92% higher than the previous cycle. &quot;With the harvest nearing its end and yields from harvested areas remaining high, the estimate of a record crop is reinforced,&quot; says the report.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&quot;In the market, the scenario of ample supply has been partially offset by the growth in domestic demand. The ethanol industry continues to increase its corn purchases, helping to limit the pressure of the higher supply on prices,&quot; assess the Institute&#039;s technicians.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As for cotton, the harvest advanced 4.75 percentage points in the week, reaching 13.11% of the total cultivated in the state, an index that is 7.86 percentage points lower than the average of the last five years.
