The volume reached R$ 15.4 billion, an increase of 13% over the R$ 13.7 billion of the previous cycle and the highest value in the historical series of the survey. In dollars, sales totaled US$ 2.86 billion, an increase of 18%.\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"agk_14000_pos_3_sidebar_mobile\" style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"mb-4\">\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"agk_14000_pos_4_conteudo_desktop\" style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"d-none d-lg-block mb-md-4\">\n<\/div>\n<p>According to Kynetec Brazil, the cultivated area in the surveyed regions grew by only 1%, to approximately 17.4 million hectares. This increase was mainly due to a greater number of treatments, which rose from 17.7 to 19.1, raising the potential treated area to 425 million hectares, an increase of 8%. Investment in crop protection increased from R$ 794 to R$ 887 per hectare, a rise of 12%.<\/p>\n<p>Insecticides maintained their leadership, with 39% of the market and R$ 6.01 billion in sales, an increase of 16%. Caterpillar control was the main highlight, with R$ 2.6 billion, 58% above the previous harvest, and adoption in 92% of the cultivated area. Fungicides accounted for 21% of the market, or R$ 3.3 billion, while herbicides totaled R$ 3.12 billion and a share of 20%.\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"agk_14000_pos_4_conteudo_mobile\" style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"mb-4\">\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"agk_14000_pos_5_conteudo_desktop\" style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"d-none d-lg-block mb-md-4\">\n<\/div>\n<p>Among fungicides, premium products advanced from 39% to R$ 1.92 billion, reaching 63% of the cultivated area. For herbicides, the adoption of broad-spectrum products increased from 31% to 44%. Nematicides reached 51% of the cultivated area, with expansion mainly driven by biological products.<\/p>\n<p>Considering both corn harvests, the Brazilian pesticide market totaled R$18.3 billion in 2026, an increase of R$131. The second harvest accounted for R$84 of the total.
