Following the approval, the Asian country now has 73 authorized Brazilian SIFs (Federal Inspection Service) facilities, belonging to 26 companies. The approval occurred after an audit conducted by the General Directorate of Livestock and Animal Health (DGLAHS) of the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture, between June 27 and July 5, 2026. All 21 audited Brazilian establishments were authorized.

The new authorizations cover units of Frigomarca, Frigorífico Silva, Frigosul, Golden Imex, JBS, Masterboi, Naturafrig, and Plena. All companies are associated with the Brazilian Association of Meat Exporting Industries (ABIEC). The establishments are distributed across the states of Acre, Goiás, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pará, Pernambuco, Rio Grande do Sul, Rondônia, São Paulo, and Tocantins.

Since 2025, Brazil has received 52 new authorizations to serve the Indonesian market. As a result, the number of authorized plants has increased from 21 to 73, a growth of approximately 247%.

The previous round of authorizations took place in September 2025, when 17 new Brazilian units were authorized. In the same year, Indonesia also expanded access for Brazilian beef to products such as bone-in meat, offal, meat products, and meat preparations. The increase in authorizations reflects the growth of trade relations between the two countries. According to data released by ABIEC, Brazil exported 43,200 tons of beef to Indonesia in 2025.

With this volume, Indonesia ended the year as the 13th largest destination for Brazilian beef. The Asian country has more than 280 million inhabitants and represents a relevant market for Brazil's strategy of diversifying export destinations.

The new authorizations are the result of negotiations conducted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA) with Indonesian authorities, with technical support from the private sector.

According to data released by ABIEC, the joint work reinforces efforts to expand the presence of Brazilian beef in the international market. “This result shows the importance of the work that the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) has been carrying out in opening and expanding markets for Brazilian beef. Indonesia is an important partner, with whom we have much room to grow. Diversifying destinations strengthens the sector without altering a fundamental characteristic of our production: approximately 701% of the beef produced in Brazil remains in the domestic market. The more markets and plants that are authorized, the more opportunities we create for the entire chain,” highlighted Roberto Perosa, president of ABIEC.

The increase in the number of authorized establishments expands Brazil's capacity to serve the Indonesian market and reinforces the strategy of diversifying the destinations for beef produced in the country.

THE Bela Cereais works with the best grains on the market and also keeps you up to date with the latest news and analyses on agribusiness.
Don't forget to follow our social networks.

Access News Source

[7
244,248,255,249,254,250,246,247,256,245,253,252,251
post-28021","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-exportacoes","tag-agrolink","tag-agrotoxicos","tag-artigos-tecnicos","tag-classificados","tag-colunistas","tag-compra","tag-cotacoes","tag-defensivos","tag-eventos","tag-noticias","tag-precos-agricolas","tag-previsao-do-tempo","tag-venda
["GET
