The situation has received particular attention in the Santa Rosa region. The anticipation is also linked to phytosanitary measures regarding Asian soybean rust. This disease, caused by the fungus Phakopsora pachyrhizi, is among the main threats to soybean cultivation and finds favorable conditions for development in environments with high temperatures and high humidity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">For this reason, producers interested in starting sowing before the usual period cannot simply communicate their decision. They will need to submit a request to the Secretariat and present a specific plan for managing Asian soybean rust.\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"agk_14000_pos_4_conteudo_mobile\" style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"mb-4\">\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"agk_14000_pos_5_conteudo_desktop\" style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"d-none d-lg-block mb-md-4\">\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">The required application form is available on the State Department of Agriculture&#039;s website. The plan should include the integrated management strategies foreseen for the area. Among the practices cited by the department are the rotation of fungicide mechanisms of action, the use of multi-site products, and the alternation of active ingredients. It is recommended that this planning be carried out, preferably, with the supervision of a qualified professional.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">The prescriptions used to control the disease and the agronomic guidelines related to the management of Asian soybean rust must also be preserved by the producer for up to two years. However, the early planting involves an important condition for those who opt for the new window. According to the Secretariat, areas sown early will not be covered by the Agricultural Activity Guarantee Program (Proagro). This means that any losses or damages recorded in these crops will not be covered by the program.
