Agrodefesa Normative Instruction No. 5\/2026 was published this Wednesday (September 16th), on an exceptional basis and valid for the 2026\/2027 crop season.<\/p>\n<p>\nWith this measure, the initial date for the presence of emerged soybean seedlings in the field is changed from September 25th to September 20th, 2026, fully addressing the request presented by the entities through Joint Official Letter No. 003-09\/2026. The final sowing date remains unchanged at January 2nd, 2027.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe request was based on specialized technical assessment and the predicted weather conditions for the period, which indicate the possibility of occasional windows of soil moisture in several producing regions of the state. The entities also considered the difference between the planting calendars of Goi\u00e1s and neighboring states, such as Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul, whose fallow periods end earlier than Goi\u00e1s&#039;s.<\/p>\n<p>\nAprosoja-GO and FAEG emphasize that the advance is exceptional and temporary, applying exclusively to the 2026\/2027 crop season, without permanently altering the periods established in Agrodefesa Normative Instruction No. 6\/2024. Producers who sow between September 20 and 24 must observe the obligations already foreseen in that regulation, especially regarding the registration and communication of cultivated areas and the phytosanitary monitoring of crops.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe entities reiterate their commitment to plant health protection and to the objectives of the National Program for the Control of Asian Soybean Rust.
