According to data released by the National Supply Company (Conab), this movement reduced interest in large-volume negotiations, while domestic and Chinese demand remained strong.

According to data released by Conab, holders of soybean stocks in Brazil demonstrated a more cautious stance during the analyzed period. Doubts about the size of the global supply in the 2026/27 crop year increased uncertainties regarding global production, especially in South America. The potential effects of El Niño also contributed to this scenario and reduced interest in trading significant volumes of the oilseed.

At the same time, Brazilian milling industries increased their interest in domestic purchases, in a preventive strategy to replenish stocks in the face of risks of reduced supply. In the foreign market, China also maintained strong demand for soybeans.

Brazilian soybean exports accumulated through August 2026 reached 92.7 million tons. According to data released by Conab, this volume exceeds the 86.5 million tons exported in the same period of the previous year. The Northern Arc accounted for 38.851 TP4T of national exports through August, compared to 37.981 TP4T in the same period of the previous year. The Port of Santos was responsible for 34.41 TP4T of the volume, practically stable compared to the 34.31 TP4T registered in the same period of the previous year.

The Port of Paranaguá accounted for 13.31 TP4T of national soybean exports up to August, above the 12.91 TP4T recorded in the same period of the previous year. The Port of São Francisco do Sul concentrated 5.11 TP4T of the exported volume, compared to 5.21 TP4T in the same period of 2025. According to data released by Conab, the main states of origin for the cargo destined for export were Mato Grosso, Goiás, Paraná, and Minas Gerais.

The international soybean meal market remained under pressure in August due to increased soybean crushing levels in major producing countries. According to data released by Conab, international demand prevented more significant losses for the byproduct. In Brazil, the exchange rate, higher soybean costs, and demand from the animal protein sector helped support soybean meal prices.

Cumulative exports of soybean meal reached 17.3 million tons by August 2026. This volume represents an increase compared to the 15.3 million tons recorded in the same period of the previous year.

According to data released by Conab, the Port of Santos accounted for 44% of the national volume exported, compared to 43.4% in the same period of 2025. Paranaguá accounted for 26.4%, compared to 29.2% in the previous year. Rio Grande accounted for 15.7%, compared to 15.4%, while Salvador concentrated 6.7%, compared to 7.8% in the same period of 2025.

The states of Mato Grosso, Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul, and Goiás appear as the main originators of soybean meal shipments destined for the foreign market. This scenario combines increased Brazilian exports of soybeans and soybean meal with a more cautious stance from stockholders in the face of uncertainties about global supply. At the same time, domestic demand from industries and Chinese purchases keep the oilseed market active.

THE Bela Cereais works with the best grains on the market and also keeps you up to date with the latest news and analyses on agribusiness.
Don't forget to follow our social networks.

Access News Source

[259
244,248,255,249,254,250,246,247,256,245,253,252,251
post-28492","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-soja","tag-agrolink","tag-agrotoxicos","tag-artigos-tecnicos","tag-classificados","tag-colunistas","tag-compra","tag-cotacoes","tag-defensivos","tag-eventos","tag-noticias","tag-precos-agricolas","tag-previsao-do-tempo","tag-venda
["GET
