The previous week, 30.11 TP4T of the area had been sown. The current pace also surpasses the 34.81 TP4T recorded in the same period of 2025 and the average of 40.21 TP4T of the last five harvests.<\/p>\n<p>Mato Grosso continues to drive national progress and has already reached 75.8% of the planned area, compared to 62.1% in the same period last year and a historical average of 70.3%. According to Conab, the rains boosted planting in all macro-regions of Mato Grosso.<\/p>\n<p>In Mato Grosso do Sul, a break in the rains allowed for intensified work after previous stoppages. However, producers began monitoring snails and slugs in the south-central region, as well as invasive plants. In Goi\u00e1s, drought and high temperatures slowed planting and even interrupted operations in some regions, resuming after isolated rains at the end of the week.<\/p>\n<p>In Minas Gerais, the return of rainfall accelerated planting in areas with higher soil moisture, while in S\u00e3o Paulo more than half of the planned area has already been sown. In Paran\u00e1, practically all planted crops are showing good development and planting continues to advance during drier periods. Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul have also gained momentum, although the planting schedule is later in some regions.<\/p>\n<p>In Par\u00e1 and Tocantins, irregular rainfall continues to slow and sporadic work. Maranh\u00e3o and Piau\u00ed have also begun sowing in some regions.
