Dilvo Casagranda addresses export demands in the meat market during the 25th SBSA

The current international situation favors diversity in exports and Brazil is positioning itself as a reference supplier of poultry meat. These and other requirements for exports in the meat market will be discussed at the 25th Brazil South Poultry Symposium (SBSA) and 16th Poultry Fair, scheduled for April 8, 9 and 10, at the Plínio Arlindo de Nes Culture and Events Center, in Chapecó (SC). The Symposium is promoted by the Western Center of Veterinarians and Zootechnicians (Nucleovet) and is celebrating its 25th anniversary.

Confirmed speaker Dilvo Casagranda will address the topic “Export requirements in the meat market” on April 8th, at 1:45 pm. In the “Market and Nutrition” section, he will analyze the Brazilian and global scenario. According to projections by the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA), Brazilian chicken meat exports are expected to reach 5.4 million tons in 2025, an increase compared to the previous year.

Daiane Albuquerque, president of the SBSA scientific committee, reiterates that the trend is for growth in the pace of exports during the year. “ABPA points out that the appreciation of Brazilian products in the foreign market is reflected in the 20.9% increase in export revenue. It is important to discuss the impact on the economy and the export requirements in a country that stands out in the global poultry farming scenario,” she said.
