The Central-West region will experience a series of dry days and temperatures above 35°C in areas of Mato Grosso and Goiás.

The weather forecast for the coming days indicates the advance of a drier air mass over the Central-West region of Brazil, reducing rainfall and favoring higher temperatures in Mato Grosso, Goiás, and parts of Mato Grosso do Sul.

According to meteorologist Estael Sias, the highlight of the region will be the predominance of stable weather, with many sunny days and heat intensifying, especially in the northern half of the Central-West region.

Temperatures are expected to reach between 34°C and 36°C in areas of northern Mato Grosso and northern Goiás in the coming days. The trend is for even more intense warming starting next week, accompanied by a drop in relative humidity levels.

"The persistence of the dry period favors an increase in heat and significantly reduces humidity. This is when we begin to enter the period most conducive to wildfires," explained the expert.

In Alta Floresta, in northern Mato Grosso, the forecast indicates a total absence of rain over the next seven days, with highs near 35°C and humidity between 30% and 40% during the afternoons. The region, an important soybean producer, is expected to face a typical dry season scenario, with few clouds and strong heating.

In Goiânia, the forecast is also for stable weather and rising temperatures throughout next week, ranging between 28°C and 30°C.

With no rain forecast, humidity should remain low, but atmospheric conditions may favor activities such as agricultural spraying, due to the absence of strong winds and instability.

In Mato Grosso do Sul, the scenario still presents some variation due to the influence of instabilities coming from the southern region. In Bataguaçu, for example, there is a possibility of light and isolated rain between Friday and Saturday. However, the trend is for a return to dry weather and a gradual increase in temperatures at the beginning of next week.
