High supply limits a stronger reaction from corn.

The market of corn The price of agribusiness regained support this Wednesday, with increases in futures contracts and still selective trading in the country's main producing regions. According to TF Agroeconômica, the movement on the B3 (Brazilian Stock Exchange) followed the appreciation of the grain in the international market, with advances in Chicago, France, and Argentina, while the final stretch of the harvest continues to increase supply and cause occasional price adjustments.

On the B3 exchange, the September 2026 contract closed at R$ 72.00, up R$ 0.30 on the day and R$ 1.03 on the week. November closed at R$ 78.26, with a daily gain of R$ 0.36, and January 2027 ended at R$ 81.47, an increase of R$ 0.33. In the physical market, the expectation of higher demand for Brazilian and Argentinian corn is helping to support prices for longer terms.

In Rio Grande do Sul, liquidity remains restricted, with transactions between R$58.00 and R$65.00 per sack and a state average of R$59.32. In Santa Catarina, references remain close to R$60.00, while buyers indicate around R$55.00. In Paraná, the lower willingness to sell also supports prices, despite the high supply with the advancement of the second crop. The sack received by the producer closed last week at R$56.79, an increase of 7.8% over the July average and 11% compared to August 2025.

Exports are also gaining importance in absorbing production, although shipments are still below the same period in 2025. In Mato Grosso do Sul, prices range from R$$ 50.00 to R$$ 55.00 per sack. Demand from the bioenergy industry helps absorb part of the supply and reinforces prices, while producers maintain greater firmness in sales and buyers act mainly for replenishment.
