Embrapa Soja and the Meridional Foundation will host the traditional Summer Field Day on March 6th, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at the unit's Technology Showcase in Londrina. The event is aimed at producers, technicians, consultants, and other professionals in the production chain. with free online registration.
The program will be divided into technical sessions that will address strategic themes for the next harvest. Highlights include presentations on soybean and bean cultivars, as well as discussions on sustainability and phytosanitary management.
In the "Low Carbon Soybeans" session, researchers will discuss the importance of plant diversity in production systems, with an emphasis on reducing emissions and building more resilient systems.
The control of stink bugs through egg parasitoids is also on the agenda, reinforcing the advancement of biological management in crops. Another technical session will address the weed scenario for the 2025/2026 crop season, with an analysis of the main lessons learned and challenges observed in the previous cycle.
The Field Day will be held at the Embrapa Soja headquarters, located on the Carlos João Strass highway, in Londrina. The expectation is to bring together professionals interested in technical updates and exchanging experiences on the main points of attention for the upcoming agricultural season.
