First week of April sees exports higher than April 2024 figures

According to information from the Federal Government's Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex), released this Monday (7), exports of fresh, chilled or frozen pork, up until the first week of April (four business days), showed values higher than those recorded for the same month last year.

The revenue obtained up to this point of the month, US$ 42,905.855 represents 19.27% of the total collected in the entire month of April 2024, which was US$ 222,574.605. In the case of the volume shipped, the 17,808.675 tons represent 18.40% of the total recorded in April of last year, an amount of 96,743.743 tons.

The average daily revenue until the beginning of April was US$ 10,726,463, an amount 6,00% more than April 2024. In comparison with the previous week, there was a drop of 21,20% observing the US$ 13,612,845, seen last week.

In the case of tons per daily average, there were 4,452.168, there was a slight increase of 1.2% compared to the same month in 2024. When compared to the result in the item from the previous week, there was a decrease of 17.63%, compared to the 5,405.221 tons from last week.

The price paid per ton, US$ 2,409.267, is 4.7% higher than that practiced last April. The result, compared to the value reached in the previous week, represents a decrease of 4.33% in relation to the previous US$ 2,518.462.
