According to Daniel Furlan Amaral, Director of Economics and Regulatory Affairs at Abiove, the growth in crushing demonstrates that the industry is maintaining a consistent pace, supported by demand for meal and exports, in addition to increased domestic consumption of biodiesel oil. "The advancement of B15 reinforces biodiesel's role as a key driver of the supply chain and consolidates the product as the most efficient and sustainable biofuel available in the world," he emphasizes.

In the international scenario, the outlook remains positive. Brazil is expected to export 109.5 million tons of soybeans. Exports of soybean meal are expected to remain at 23.6 million tons, as are soybean oil, forecast at 1.35 million tons. Soybean oil imports are estimated at 100,000 tons, while soybean imports are expected to increase by 800,000 tons, to supplement domestic supply.

In July, processing totaled 4.7 million tons, an increase of 3.4% compared to June. Compared to July 2024, the increase was 6.1%, when adjusted for the sample percentage. Year-to-date, processing reached 30.6 million tons, an increase of 6.1% compared to the same period of the previous year.
