Famato System strengthens its presence at agricultural fairs and promotes Mato Grosso's agriculture sector

The Mato Grosso Agriculture and Livestock Federation (Famato) once again attended one of the state's most important agricultural events. On Saturday (September 20), Famato President Vilmondes Tomain, accompanied by Administrative and Financial Director Robson Marques, visited Cotriguaçu to attend the 19th Expocotri and the 30th Festa do Peão, organized by the municipality's Rural Union. Also participating in the event were José Lino Geraldo Martins Rodrigues, president of the Juína Rural Union, and Vanderlei Garcia, president of the Apiacás Rural Union.

Famato and the Cotriguaçu Rural Union jointly set up the "Rural Family House" booth, a welcoming and engaging space for producers, families, and visitors. Among the attractions, the Mato Grosso National Rural Learning Service (Senar-MT), in partnership with the union, hosted a meat display throughout the fair. The public was able to observe cutting techniques, deboning demonstrations, and sample the quality of local livestock.

For Vilmondes Tomain, the Famato System's presence at events like this reinforces its mission to value the work of rural producers and bring society closer to agriculture. "Agricultural fairs are unique opportunities to showcase the strength of the countryside and the importance of agriculture for the development of Mato Grosso. Being in Cotriguaçu reaffirms our commitment to honoring rural unions and, together, further strengthening Mato Grosso's agricultural sector," stated the Famato president.

Expocotri host, Ângelo Lunardelli, president of the Cotriguaçu Rural Union, highlighted the partnership with Famato and Senar-MT in organizing the event. "Receiving the support of the Famato System and having initiatives like the meat display further enhances our fair. It's a source of pride to see the community united, producers recognized, and Cotriguaçu's rodeo and livestock tradition recognized throughout the state."

Held between September 18th and 21st, at the Cotriguaçu Exhibition Park, Expocotri energized the region with four days of intense programming, which included rodeos narrated by Anderson de Oliveira, directly from the Barretos Arena, the 18th stage of the 2025 season, shows, entertainment and cultural attractions that celebrated the strength of livestock farming and rural tradition.
