The Mato Grosso Agriculture and Livestock Federation (Famato) received an institutional visit this Wednesday (October 8th) from Judges Márcio Vidal and Anglizey Solivan de Oliveira, directors of the Mato Grosso State Judiciary School (Esmagis-MT). The meeting reinforced the mutual commitment between the institutions to promoting legal certainty, continuing education, and the sustainable development of agribusiness in Mato Grosso.
The judges were welcomed by Famato President Vilmondes Tomain and legal advisor Rodrigo Bressane at the Federation's headquarters in Cuiabá. The meeting is part of a growing cooperation agenda between the Famato System and the Judiciary, particularly following the signing of joint agreements and projects focused on the environment, conflict mediation, and legal training applied to the field.
During the dialogue, the leaders highlighted the importance of bridging the gap between law and agribusiness, recognizing that institutional dialogue is essential to building balanced and lasting solutions to the challenges facing the productive sector.
For Vilmondes Tomain, the partnership between Famato and Esmagis-MT represents a step forward in the quest for an increasingly safe and sustainable environment. "Agribusiness needs legal certainty to continue growing responsibly. Being close to the judiciary, through partnerships like this one with Esmagis-MT, is essential for building bridges of understanding and valuing the legality that guides the work of rural producers," stated the president.
