The head of Embrapa Agropecuária Oeste, Harley Nonato de Oliveira, will be one of the professionals honored at the Solemn Session for the Presentation of the Engineer José Francisco de Lima Medal and Diploma of Honor for Legislative Merit, which will be held on December 11th, at 7 pm (MS time), in the Deputy Júlio Maia Plenary Hall, at the Legislative Assembly of Mato Grosso do Sul (Alems), in Campo Grande. The ceremony takes place annually in December.
The honor is granted by Crea-MS, in partnership with the State Legislative Assembly, and recognizes professionals registered with the Council who stand out for their ethical performance, technical contribution, and commitment to the development of Engineering, Agronomy, and Geosciences in the State. The creation of the award, established by Resolution No. 01/2022, arose in allusion to Engineer's Day, December 11th.
This year, 35 professionals will be honored. The names were selected based on suggestions received throughout the year by the president of Crea-MS, Vânia Abreu de Mello, as well as nominations made by the author of the proposal, deputy and agricultural engineer Renato Câmara.
Harley Nonato de Oliveira's name was a direct recommendation from the president of Crea-MS, in recognition of the work he developed at Embrapa Agropecuária Oeste and his contribution to the advancement of agricultural research in Mato Grosso do Sul.
