The harvest of the 2025/2026 summer crop in the area of Capal Cooperativa Agroindustrial, which covers approximately 98 municipalities in Paraná and São Paulo, began in February and has reached 70%. The first-crop corn has 80% of the harvested area and soybeans 60%.

They experienced positive development, despite irregular rainfall throughout the cycle. "The weather conditions were variable, but there was good vegetative and reproductive performance, with a low incidence of pests and diseases," he says.
The consequence, according to him, was a technically well-managed harvest, but with variations in productivity between plots and properties.
For soybeans, the average estimate is 4,250 kg per hectare. For corn, the expectation is around 11,500 kg per hectare. Martins believes that the weather limited more uniform gains, even with proper management.

The incorporation of Coopagrícola and the start of operations at 13 new silos in Arapoti (PR) increased the cooperative's static storage capacity to approximately 745,000 tons.
According to the cooperative's Grain Operations Coordinator, Carlos Faria, the expansion improves reception during peak harvest times and reduces logistical risks at times when the weather demands speed. "The new structures allow for better staggered receiving and prevent occasional overloads," he says.

The producer's financial outcome. "Costs remain high, with diesel and inputs under pressure, while commodity prices are at an all-time high. Even with good productivity, the producer may end up with a deficit," he says.
Alternatively, he recommends marketing strategies such as advance sales and price locking. According to Pasinatto, greater storage capacity allows for more strategic sales decisions, with less immediate pressure to sell off inventory.
