"Besides the larger quantity of soybeans offered this season compared to the last, there is also the effect of the Iran war, which has affected international prices through the dollar and especially the price of oil. These factors have contributed to greater fluctuations in the soybean market."
Corn
The report also points to a decline in corn prices. In March 2026, the average available price was R$ 53.07 per sack, about 23% lower than that recorded in March 2025, when the cereal was traded at R$ 65.27.
The average future price of corn was R$ 51.89 per sack, representing a decrease of approximately 10% compared to the same period of the previous year.

The 2025/2026 crop is showing more cautious advance sales. Up to March, 15.5% of the production was sold, with a weighted average price of R$ of 51.17 per sack.
"Iran was the main buyer of corn from Mato Grosso do Sul in 2025. There is a redirection of corn from Mato Grosso do Sul, which is causing commercialization to slow down, with a larger quantity of corn, putting pressure on prices in the market."
